How do I get there?

How do I get there?

Getting Here

You'll want to fly into BogotÁ El dorado airport (BOG). Most airlines should be able to get you here pretty easily.

How long to stay?

IF YOU'RE COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN, WE RECOMMEND YOU ARRIVE ON THURSDAY June 25 AND LEAVE ON MONDAY June 29. SURE, YOU COULD ARRIVE ON FRIDAY, BUT THEN YOU'D MISS THE 'THANKS FOR COMING' DINNER WE'RE HOSTING FOR YOU ON THURSDAY (SEE BELOW). AND YES, YOU COULD LEAVE SUNDAY, BUT IT'S GOING TO BE A HECK OF A PARTy ON SATURDAY. SERIOUSLY, IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA...

Bienvenidos a Colombia!

Bienvenidos a Colombia!

"The only risk is wanting to stay"

That was Colombia's tourism campaign a few years ago, and we couldn't agree more. We're honored that so many of our guests will be joining us from out of town, and we'll do everything we can to make sure your visit to Colombia is safe, fun and easy.

So what's so great about Colombia? Glad you asked. Here are a few reasons we love it:

  • Colombia is consistently rated one of the happiest countries in the world. Talk to a few Colombians while you're here and you'll see what we mean.
  • There are dozens of fruits here you've never heard of, and they're all amazing.
  • Being equatorial, Colombia's weather is consistent throughout the year. It's always cool in Bogotá and in the mountains, and always warm at lower altitudes.
  • Colombian coffee. Enough said.
  • Where other people walk, Colombians dance.  Didn't you see the Colombian team dancing at the World Cup last year?
  • Colombia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, hosting close to 10% of the planet's biodiversity. It's ranked first place in bird and orchid diversity, and second in plants and butterflies. Within Colombia's borders there are 314 types of ecosystems!
  • Colombian Spanish is widely considered the most beautiful, clear Spanish, making it easy for Danny to learn.
